What is the rating system? How does it work?
The rating system is designed for our users to rate the orders they place
and receive. On the homepage, there is a rating button displaying stars for
your current orders. You can rate the restaurant in general by choosing a
score between the lowest 1 and the highest 5. When you click on the stars, a
field will appear where you can review the restaurant; you may write your
comment on your order if you wish. Additionally, you can mark the products
in your order that you liked or disliked. The scores given will be added to
the average of the restaurant you ordered from at the end of the day and
will have an impact.
Can I make comments and ratings on a canceled order?
For the purpose of proper user guidance, only the users who have purchased
the relevant order can give ratings and make comments, and only for orders
that have been delivered. Therefore, unfortunately, you cannot rate or
comment on a canceled order; however, you can convey your complaints and
suggestions to us. Our team will address the issue immediately.
How are the comments and ratings about the restaurant sorted?
Comments and ratings about the restaurant can be listed in four different
ways depending on the users' preferences: "Top Reviews",
"From New to Old", "Decreasing Score", and
"Increasing Score".
I rated a restaurant without a score, but why is the restaurant still unscored?
The restaurant's average rating is calculated by taking the scores given by
a maximum of 150 different users in the last 3 months. The appearance of an
unscored restaurant indicates that there is no user who has evaluated their
valid order yet. The rating you made will be added to the average of the
restaurant you ordered from at the end of the day and will have an impact.
What is the review system? What is it for?
The review system is offered to every user who orders from Yemeksepeti and
receives their order to evaluate their order and the delivery service. All
comments describing the food and service are published by Yemeksepeti as
long as they do not contain inappropriate expressions. The publication
criteria do not differ for any user or restaurant and do not discriminate
between positive and negative comments. Some examples of unacceptable
expressions are as follows:
- Containing irrelevant topics, writings other than the quality of the food or the service provided,
- Insulting, targeting users who have previously evaluated the restaurant, containing insults, defamation, profanity, threats, provocative, hate speech,
- Violating intellectual/industrial rights, using brand names in a derogatory or unfair competition manner,
- Containing elements of crime, contrary to general morality and public order, violating the privacy of personal data or private life,
- Containing links redirecting to different sites or having advertising purposes,
- Comments containing health claims (all statements implying or explicitly stating that they are beneficial to human health, effective against diseases or symptoms, protective, or therapeutic) are not published due to being contrary to Yemeksepeti publication criteria and legislation.
